Any chance of a podcast (gulp)?
Would it be best if the government gave the land back to the indigenous peoples with the stipulation that it not be mined or developed for oil? Just saw the NPR presentation on Bears Ears. Have been to Canyon DeChelly and it seems to be handled by the native americans with thoughtfulness re: tourism. Have also seen where the indigenous peoples have developed/sold their lands for not such good use/commercialization. Thanks.
