THE ONCE AND FUTURE BOOK CLIFFS HIGHWAY?

A bad idea, fought over for years in Grand County and finally defeated after the project consumed more than a half-million dollars in wasted taxpayer dollars, is now back on the table. The Grand County Council voted to send a letter to their neighbors to the north, in Uintah County, to entertain the idea, yet again, for building this road. (see agenda N)…..If Moab’s ‘progressive environmentalists’ could acknowledge and DISCUSS the Reality that consumption is every bit as much an issue here as production, and that one feeds the other, I almost think this could be an honest debate…JS
